The Duck Walk 2007 Merlot Reserve is very generous on the nose: plum, cherry, and blackberry jam are accompanied by some leather and cocoa notes. On the palate, velvety tannins contribute to the richness and the elegance of the mouth feel. This wine can be enjoyed now, or can be cellared for a few more years. It pairs well with beef stew, venison, and cheese.
