Dominus
2004 Red Wine
Napa Valley

Rating: 94 Robert Parker
Robert Parker: "The elegant, dark plum/purple/garnet-colored 2004 Dominus exhibits a big, sweet, cedary, roasted herb, mocha, black cherry liqueur, black currant, and earth-scented perfume. Medium to full-bodied with silky tannin as well as a luscious mouthfeel and finish, it should be more accessible in its youth than many of its predecessors, but easily last for two decades."

Price: $137.97
*Limit of ONE per customer.

Joseph Phelps Insignia
2004 Red Blend
Napa Valley

Rating: 94 Robert Parker, 94 Wine Spectator
Parker: "The soft, opulent 2004 Insignia (a 10,000-case blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 12% Petit Verdot, and 2% Malbec) is already seductive and lush. Offering abundant quantities of cassis, incense, graphite, plums, blackberries, and black currants, it will be hard to resist young, but should age effortlessly for two decades or more."

Price: $204.97
*Limit of ONE per customer.

Opus One
2006 Napa Valley Red Wine
Napa Valley

Rating: 94 Robert Parker
Parker: "Not surprisingly, the 2006 is a bigger, more muscular, less charming effort displaying unbridled power, full-bodied richness, and notes of new saddle leather, black fruits, roasted herbs, and burning embers. Powerful and rich with sweet tannin, low acidity, and more structure and density than the 2005 as well as less nuance and complexity, the 2006 should be consumed over the next 15+ years."

Price: $194.97
*Limit of ONE per customer.

Pahlmeyer
2005 Proprietary Red Wine
Napa Valley

Rating: 96 Parker, 94 Wine Spectator
Parker: "The 2005 Proprietary Red is significantly better than what I tasted last year, although I certainly gave it a high score. This wine has fleshed out beautifully. The final blend (84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdo, and Malbec) has a deep purple color, a beautifully sweet nose of blackberries and cassis intermixed with some meatiness, smoke, and a touch of pain grille as well as notes of espresso and licorice. Full-bodied, rich, with decent acidity, excellent delineation, and moderately high tannin, this is a beauty that should evolve for 25-30+ years It is no wimpish wine at 15.2% natural alcohol, but that is buried beneath a cascade of gorgeous fruit and glycerin. This wine should be cruising along brilliantly in 2030+."

Wine Spectator: "Ripe, rich and complex, with layers of black cherry, wild berry, currant and cherry kirsch flavors that are bold, rich and persistent, ending with a long, intense yet elegant aftertaste. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Drink now through 2015."

Price: $135.97
*Limit of ONE per customer.

cabernet sauvignon

Caymus Vineyards
2007 Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa Valley

Winery Notes: "The aromas are layered with pipe tobacco, fermentation pumice, log cabin fire, moist steel, dried Poblano peppers and fine quality oak. Sweet, toasty fresh brown spice leads to the impression of richness and complexity.

We created this wine to be low in tartness yet abundant in tannins, providing impressions of friendly chock richness. The palate enters rich with sweet, ripe tannins, expanding to a greater breadth of refined textures. These harmonious qualities are so well integrated that not one takes the dominant role.

I find a flavor profile of dark chocolate, sweet tobacco, mocha, leather, brown spice, cedar, vanilla and sweet licorice."

The primary goodness of this wine is the presence of balance, with a supple texture, approachable grip and a fruit of the earth essence.

Price: $76.97
*Limit of ONE per customer.

Chateau Montelena
2004 Montelena Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa Valley

Rating: 94 Robert Parker
Parker: "The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, all from their old vineyards in Calistoga. This is a dense, ruby/purple-tinged wine with full body, and despite the softness of the general vintage, Montelena has plenty of structure. Like nearly every vintage of their top Cabernet Sauvignon, it will last for 25 or more years. The wine has sweet tannin in a broad, flavorful, concentrated style with plenty of black currant, licorice, and spice. The wine is beautifully textured, slightly more forward than most Montelena Cabernets tend to be. It is another beauty from probably the most consistent winery for Cabernet Sauvignon over the last three decades."

Price: $129.97
*Limit of ONE per customer.

Duckhorn Vineyards
2005 Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa Valley

Rating: 94 The Wine News
Wine Spectator: "Intense and firmly structured, with vivid ripe plum and blackberry fruit that's well-centered, with a dusty, savory, earthy edge that provides a nice baseline. This has a nice measure of restraint and refinement. Best from 2009 through 2015."

Price: $72.97
*Limit of TWO per customer.

Etude
2003 Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa Valley

Rating: 91 Robert Parker
Wine Spectator: "The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon is even more forward than the 2004, with a plump, heady, corpulent mouthfeel and loads of cassis, licorice, and pain grille notes and a hint of graphite. Deep, full-bodied, chewy, and supple-textured, this wine should drink well for 14 or so years."

Price: $89.97
*Limit of ONE per customer.

Far Niente
2006 Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa Valley
Oakville

Winery Notes: "Bright with ripe, purple fruits, this wine will impress with complex, layered aromas of black licorice and briar patch. The silky entry progresses along the palate and gives way to dense, velvety chocolate and toast. Full-bodied and concentrated throughout, the wine lingers on with a long, layered finish."

Price: $118.97
*Limit of ONE per customer.

Seavey
2003 Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa Valley

Rating: 96 Parker, 90 Wine Spectator
Parker: "The blockbuster 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon ranks alongside the top wines of the vintage. The final blend was 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, and 996 cases were produced. A dense purple color is accompanied by a sweet bouquet of scorched earth, creme de cassis, coffee beans, licorice, and roasted meats. This sensational, full-bodied, dense 2003 comes across like a La Mission Haut-Brion from a ripe, powerful vintage. It should age beautifully for 20-25 years."

Price: $89.97
*Limit of ONE per customer.

Silver Oak
2005 Cabernet Sauvignon
Alexander Valley

Winery Notes: "The 2005 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon beautifully expresses the full aromatic ripeness of this exemplary vintage. It is full bodied and yet refined, and consistent in its color, aroma, palate and finish. It has a dark garnet color and a nose of black cherry, clove, cinnamon, lavender and licorice. It is seamless on the palate with a solid core of berry fruit, velvety tannins and excellent length. With proper cellaring it should give drinking pleasure through 2032."

2007 Sauvignon Blanc

port

Taylor Fladgate

Winery Notes: An incredible example of an old Tawny port. A rarity, as few houses will make a 40 year old tawny. This wine is olive gold in colour with rich caramel, butterscotch, hazelnut flavours.
